Now in its fourth year, The Reclaiming Birth Gathering is an established movement that brings us back to our primal knowing. It’s a living network of people who are moving forward with a deep respect for our body’s intelligence and our shared experiences - reminding us of the wild wisdom that lives within.
We are bringing mothers, families and birth workers together so we can collectively question what we’ve been taught and honour the quiet intelligence beneath the noise. Change begins here - in conversation, in connection, and in community.

My hope is, that if someone like me, a former NICU nurse, who once believed home births should be illegal, can reclaim the rite of passage of childbirth, and become a fierce advocate for home births, that more women realize their strength, their power, their sacred blessing and also reclaim their birth. Once we realize how capable our bodies are, our strength, we'll have the confidence to stand in this power, our intuition, our innate wisdom and confidently raise our children trusting in our ability to care and nurture them, without external validation. We are all they need, when we step into the wisdom of wise women. It's not just reclaiming birth, it's reclaiming motherhood, reclaiming the family - it's reclaiming ourselves and how we've been fearfully and wonderfully created.
