Sarah Stead

Sarah is a C-Section Recovery Specialist located in Guelph, Ontario, with over 10 years experience as a Registered Massage Therapist.  Inspired by her sister’s Cesarean birth and recovery, Sarah has spent the latter part of her career specializing in Scar Tissue Release, with a focus on Cesarean scars.  She is passionate about helping mothers with their Cesarean birth recovery and is especially motivated to support those that have experienced birth trauma or felt abandoned by the medical system.  By combining the use of microcurrent electrical stimulation with hands-on massage techniques and individual recovery exercises, Sarah’s comprehensive approach helps mothers to heal physically, fade the appearance of their scars, and feel confident and strong in their bodies again. Her treatments are also effective for older scars, even decades later! Sarah is a strong advocate for Vaginal Birth Post Cesarean (VBAC) and helps to educate her clients on their options for future birth experiences.  While not a mother herself (yet!), Sarah is passionate about all things babies and birth, and is a loving and devoted aunt to six nieces and nephews.  She views the role of motherhood as the most important job in the world, which is why she takes such pride in helping moms to feel and function at their best!
